Woman Hurt in Left-Turn Crash on MO-763 in Columbia, MO

Columbia, MO (June 2, 2026) – A 22-year-old woman was hurt early Sunday morning, May 31, in a two-vehicle crash at MO-763 and Brown School Road in Boone County. The Missouri Highway Patrol said the collision occurred at approximately 6:40 a.m.

Early reports stated that a 2024 Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound and completed a left turn into the path of a westbound 2004 Nissan Sentra. As a result, the two vehicles struck each other head-on. 

The 22-year-old driver of the first vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. The 28-year-old male driver of the second car declined medical treatment at the scene. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the accident site.

The investigation into the wreck remains ongoing.
